About UsEmpowering women through beauty
Whitney is the owner and founder of Moxie Miller who established her creation in September of 2019. Whitney is a one of a kind hair artist as she holds on to her Southern East Tennessee roots, and takes pride in pushing the envelope in seeking to provide the best experience for every Moxie Miller client.
Whitney graduated with a BFA in Interior Design at Winthrop University in 2007 where she then continued to pursue her career in the beauty industry after graduating Paul Mitchel in 2012 specializing in blonding and men’s cuts. Whitney credits her other techniques in beauty and makeup to the first opportunity ABP Makeup had given her through the coaching and guidance of Ashley Brook Perryman, Key Hair and Makeup Director of Charleston Fashion Week, and has brought her diverse skills to life through Moxie Miller.
After building her clientele at Juve Salon Studio in Mount Pleasant, SC, Whitney has decided to create a captivating vision of her own. At Moxie Miller you will find Whitney’s beliefs of the importance of welcoming new clients, the refusal to turn down a challenge, and the assurance of a wonderful experience here at Moxie Miller where you can leave the salon with a new personal experience of beauty.
Debbie is a free-spirited, passionate and loving wife, mother of two and a Green Bay Packers fan who loves to exchange a smile and a story with anyone and everyone. One of Debbie’s core beliefs is the “beauty is not in the face, it’s a light in the heart,” and she is intentional about giving each individual who sits in her chair a relaxing, captivating and fulfilling experience. As a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology, she is knowledgeable of and experiences with the latest trends within the beauty industry. Debbie specializes in adding texture and dimension as well as highlighting and coloring (especially blonding). She is also skilled at scalp massage and relaxation techniques, so a shampoo and blowout from Debbie is an especially enjoyable experience. Debbie’s love for others extends beyond the doors of the salon. As a doula for the past 17 years, she has committed herself to serving families during some of the most important times of their lives, and she loves bringing that same care and concern to helping her clients achieve their vision and feel beautiful on the inside and out.
